Here is our basic Vacation Rental Cleaning checklist.
Kitchen/Living Rooms
Wipe down Inside and outside of all cabinets and drawers
Clean all appliances: Fridge, Stove, Stove Top, Microwave etc.
Vacuum all rugs, couches, and pillows.
Vacuum between couch cushions
Bathrooms / Bedrooms
Thoroughly scrub all bathtubs and showers, clean shower glass / wash or bleach the inside shower curtain.
Thoroughly scrub all toilets and floors around toilets
Wipe down the inside of the vanities.
Wipe down the insides of the nightstands.
Vacuum or Sweep under all beds/nightstands/dressers.
Wash all linens and towels. Remake beds with fresh linens. Hang clean bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths in bathrooms.
Outdoor Areas
Decorative Items on patios/porches/backyards - Wipe down and make sure there aren't any leaves or dirt on them.
Clean / Scrub down grill
Check the propane on the grill.
Wipe down all patio furniture.
All areas of interior
Dusting - all cobwebs, shelves, artwork, lights, and vents in every room
Baseboards - make sure there are no scuffs or dust on them.
Thoroughly sweep and steam mop all floors - move furniture pieces and rugs.
